This eight week group is designed specifically for women and will meet every Wednesday at 11AM beginning January 29, 2025.

This eight week group is crafted specifically for women who are grappling with the profound effects of betrayal trauma. We aim to equip and empower you with strategies to better manage triggers, process intense emotions, and respond constructively to the challenges that arise in everyday life. This group is for those who feel that hope and healing might be out of reach after experiencing betrayal from a loved one, partner, or spouse. You may relate to feelings of:

  • Walking on eggshells, trying to avoid further pain

  • Living in a state of heightened anxiety and unease

  • Struggling to regain stability and confidence after an emotional upheaval

Whether the betrayal involved a sexual, emotional, financial, or other breach of trust, such experiences can leave you feeling unanchored and uncertain of your identity. This group combines the latest research on betrayal trauma and post-traumatic growth to support a journey toward resilience, providing a safe and nurturing environment. Here, you’ll discover tools, build connections, and gain insight into how our bodies process and respond to trauma, empowering you on your healing journey.

We will equip you with knowledge, tools, and community support to help you progress on your path toward security and healing.

There isn’t a singular solution for addressing the profound impact of betrayal trauma. However, we believe that understanding how trauma affects the mind, body, and spirit can empower individuals to manage their triggers, emotions, and responses more effectively.

Starting the journey to heal from trauma often begins by re-establishing a sense of safety, allowing you to delve into deeper self-discovery, growth, and healing. Whatever path you choose in relationships after betrayal, learning to be present in your own body and finding a sense of safety in your daily environment can be among the most valuable parts of the process, and this group is here to support that journey.

With a grounded sense of peace comes new possibilities—opportunities to view the world differently, build healthier relationships, and find hope for a new way forward. We invite you to join us on this path.

The belonging and support I felt from the others in the group was something I didn’t realize I needed. Trauma is isolating and being a part of a group where you feel like you’re not alone was so healing. Feeling compassion for someone else during the discussion reminded me to have compassion for myself too because we are all going through a similar experience. I like that we started the day with a new regulation tool for our toolbox. I have a folder full of them now to pull out when I get flooded.

Life changing. I am truly forever grateful for the work Carrie and Amanda have put in to this group. From someone who sat in my therapists office a few years ago and said I would never hope again, I can say that the rewiring this group has done in my brain has given me the ability to say there is hope. I can’t thank you enough.
